Prayer Brings Power, GODS POWER! 

Hebrew for POWER:  "DUNAMIS" 

Meaning DYNO ... its where we get the word  DYNAMITE!

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this Treasure (JESUS) in earthen vessels that the excellency of the POWER may be of God and not of us. 

Luke 4:1-43 (Jesus fasted and prayed 40 days and 40 nights) 

Vs 6,7 "And the devil said unto Him, all this power (PRIDE) will I give thee, and the glory (self glory) of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whosoever I will give it. If thou wilt worship me; all shall be thine." 

vs 8 "Get thee behind me satan for it is written,  (FIGHT WITH THE WORD/SWORD) Thou shalt worship The Lord thy God, and Him ONLY shalt thou serve." 

vs 13-14

"And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from Him for a season. 

And Jesus returned in THE POWER of the Spirit into Galilee, and there went out a fame of Him through all the region round about." 

•You can't hide THE BURNING FLAME! THE LIGHT! JESUS! 

Luke 4:32-43

Vs 32 "And they were astonished at His doctrine: for His WORD WAS WITH POWER." 

vs 36. "And they were all AMAZED  and spake amount themselves saying, what WORD is this! For with AUTHORITY AND POWER He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they came out!" 

"Then He called his twelve disciples together, and gave them POWER and AUTHORITY over all devils, and to cure diseases." (Luke 9:1)

•IT ONLY COMES FROM JESUS!

"And He said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by PRAYET and FASTING." (Mark 9:29) 

•PRAYER - Calling on the          Father! 

                            

•FASTING-  Seeking His face, wanting Him more than anything my flesh wants! (JOB 23:12) 

"I want You, only YOU GOD!

I desire You MORE than my necessary food.... Or anything ELSE!

"And He said, unto them, I must preach the KINGDOM OF GOD to other cities also: for therefore am I sent."

*ITS NOT US!   It's HIM- JESUS! 

*THE POWER come from GOD! 

The passion for Him comes from HIM! (THE WORD) 

Let the passion for Him be the fuel to give it all to HIM! 

Seeking Him .. PRAYER... FASTING... Brings POWER , His POWER.. That  POWER FUELS THE PASSION TO PERSEVERE! 

That POWER - Came from Heaven was born of a virgin!

That POWER- Raised Jesus from the dead!

That POWER- Defeated satan!

That POWER- cast out devils!

That POWER- Raises the dead!

That POWER- Brings Revival!

That POWER- Gives LIFE, abundantly!!

That POWER- causes me to live HOLY! 

That POWER- IS coming again to take me HOME! 

If PRAYER AND FASTING Brings THE POWER .... I AM ALL IN JESUS! MY LIFE IS YOURS!

The Reward Giver

The Lord woke me up out of a dead sleep today.. and Holy Spirit spoke His precious word to my heart... saying.. "Angela, without faith it is impossible to please me... but I am a Rewarder to those who diligently seek me.." So... I, of course had to run to the Word and look it up...

      Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."

 Diligently- constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive. persistent.

 WOW. Am I seeking Him with all diligence? He is a Rewarder.

 Matt 7:11 If ye then, being evil (sinful), know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

 There have been some pretty hard things that have happen the last few months.. that have literally crushed my spirit.. and caused me to spiral down into feeling sorry for myself. And isn't that exactly where the enemy wants us?
 I was listening to things like.."you are a horrible mother, friend, sister, wife." "God cant use you." "People don't want you, what makes you think God wants you?"
Have you ever heard these things?   Maybe not exactly verbatim.   But some what similar?
Well my dear brother or sister.. THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!
 If you are hearing these things and not moving spiritually then you are where I was. Its time to believe the WORD.. claim them, rebuke satan.. and get out of the pit that he had made for you.!!!!
Lets start seeking GOD with our whole heart!!! GOD Has created you to be HIS beautiful child.. to use you for His glory!!!    He wants to pour out His blessings on you!!!! He wants to pour into you.. more of HIMSELF! (THE WORD)

    John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my Joy might remain in you, and that your Joy might be full.

 I recently was in Genesis 15:1 a verse I have over looked many times.. because I'm trying to "read the bible through in a year." But let me tell you these words jumped off the page into my heart the other day!!! 


    Genesis 15:1 After these things the Word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision saying, Fear Not, Abram, I AM they shield, and thy EXCEEDING GREAT REWARD!"

 There's that word again... REWARD!!!!!!....HIM... GOD THE FATHER!!!! HE IS OUR REWARD!!!! 


"THE SECRET OF MY BLESSING IS THAT I AM WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. I AM YOUR REWARD... YOUR ANSWER... YOUR BLESSING." -GOD

Prayer:

Lord.. forgive me.. forgive me for always looking inwardly at my problems.. for not looking to You,...my CONSTANT.. my EXCEEDING GREAT REWARD, My Comforter... MY JOY.. MY GOD!!! Help me to remember that only You can satisfy my heart.. that nothing in this world could or ever will satisfy my soul. ONLY YOU. Lord, I praise You.. for showing me what You have today in Your Word.. may it do what it was meant to accomplish in me.. and may YOU ONLY BE GLORIFIED... in JESUS NAME.... I praise You .... Amen.

THE LIVING WATER

Lord you have spoken so clear to me today!! :) I stay amazed at you! All I can say is WOW!!
God knows I am such a visual learner...and simple minded at times.. and today I was awaken by His presence.
He spoke to me and led me into the kitchen. He had me grab a glass from the cabinet and place it in the empty sink under the faucet. He said "Angela you see this vessel is empty?" "Yes Lord" "Its not being used for its purpose?" "Yes Lord." Then He said to me "turn on the faucet..." I didn't even question.. but usually I am always asking "WHY?" but today was different with my free will I "obeyed" and turned it on.
I began to weep because you see the cup was empty, it was dry inside and out.. UNTIL the faucet of water poured itself into the cup filling it up til overflowing getting every thing around it wet! I was so astounded at what I was seeing..it was so simple yet sooooo profound!!
I noticed that the only thing moving at this point was the water... the vessel was "still" allowing the water to fill it up.. it was "dead" the only thing it was doing was being still for the Water to fill it up.
Now.. I hear the Father say to me..."Pick up the vessel" I began to cry even more as I reach for the cup...There is no where getting around being splattered or touched by the water...The closer and closer my hand gets to the cup.... my hand gets WET!!!  Then as I am seeing this I hear the Lord ask me... "What is moving?" With tears... I see the only thing moving at this point is the WATER... The cup is still.. and the closer I get to the cup... ITS NOT THE CUP that is touching me.. ITS THE WATER!!!!

THANK YOU LORD for THIS VISUAL!!!  IF WE want to be a TRUE EFFECTIVE WITNESS for the KINGDOM.....and IF we want others to be TOUCHED by the LIVING WATER when they get CLOSE TO US... we must allow HIM TO FILL US UP.. WE MUST STAY UNDER THE FAUCET of the HOLY SPIRIT.. (THE WORD)


"As the hart pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul after you, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?" -Psalms 42:1-2

We can NOT be an effect for Him if we don't turn on the faucet..(OPEN UP THE WORD)  I ask you friend.... TRY IT... . I know it seems silly...... but I ask you to do it.. and let Him speak to you today!! :)

"AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH"... A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE.

Just thinking about Christmas.. and about OUR PRECIOUS JESUS.. He reminded me of this verse today.. John 1:14.. "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

When Jesus left His Holy heaven to come as a baby to this terrible sinful world.. YOU CAN KNOW THIS FOR SURE... He didn't come EMPTY!! HE CAME BRINGING!!!!!!!!!!!

Luke 2:10-11 "And the angel said unto them, Fear Not: for, behold, I BRING you good tidings of GREAT JOY which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the LORD."

HE CAME BRINGING!!!! I love the WORD.. I love how It says in John 1:14&16 "FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH..... and of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace."

HE IS THE FULLNESS OF ALL JOY... ALL PEACE... ALL GRACE.. AND ALL LOVE!!!!!

He came for ONE PURPOSE... ONE PASSION.. ONE MISSION... to SAVE THE WORLD!!!

John 1:29...Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

Jesus loves you ... HE LOVES YOU!!!! Think about it for a minute.. Would You leave a place that never had any pain..no hurt.. no sin.. to come to a dirty rotten world..filled with pain.... agony.... suffering... hurt... tears... disappointment???
Would you come even bringing gifts?? Bringing THE FULLNESS OF JOY.. LOVE.. GRACE.. to people that HATE YOU??? THIS LOVE AMAZES ME.........<3 <3

The Lord just really has been showing me lately.... that I should NOT WITHHOLD from OTHERS what HE HAS SO FREELY GIVEN ME!!!!!

1 John 4:10-11 "Herein is Love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought to love one another."

So this CHRISTMAS... I believe the BEST GIFT you can give someone else... is TRUE LOVE!!! GODS LOVE!!! BUT HOW CAN WE DO THIS without "US" getting in the way.. WE must allow the SPIRIT to LOVE THROUGH US.. by KNOWING HIM AND ABIDING IN HIM...

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

HE CAME BRINGING........ THE BEST GIFT EVER....Jesus Christ Himself.... He is the GIFT..... May HE FILL YOU THIS CHRISTMAS.... and then in return YOU GIVE BACK TO HIM.. BY BRINGING TO OTHERS THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL... THE LOVE OF CHRIST!!!!! <3

Homage- something done or given in acknowledgment or consideration of the worth of another; respect or reverence paid or rendered.

So.. with that said.... What is it your going to give the LORD in worshiping HIM!!??? His WORD says that "Thou shalt not have any other gods before ME!" :)

What is the "thing" you love so much..? the "thing" you put before Him everyday..? the "thing" that fights for your TIME WITH GOD!!! For me.. that is sleep! Now... I dont know what that is for you... but whatever comes before Him is an idol. a god in your life...

THE LORD GOD is seeking those that will "WORSHIP" HIM in SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH!... are YOU TRULY WORSHIPING THE LORD!!! its more than just a song on SUNDAY MORNING!!! ITS A LIFESTYLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Take up your cross and follow after JESUS!! :) He is WORTH IT! :)

My Testimony...

The MESS that GOD Turned into a MESSAGE!!!


My name is Angela Sue Morgan. I was born July 3rd 1975 (Im 36.. haha) in Corpus Christi, Texas. My Mother and Father are Becky and Bobby Bonner missionaries to Zambia Africa since 1988. So yes.. I lived in Zambia for 4 years. (AMAZING!!) I am the oldest of 4 sisters. They all live in different states serving GOD with there husbands and kids! So were do I start!!??


Well for starters I grew up in an AMAZING Christian HOME!! My Fathers testimony is one that you don't hear often.. He was a professional baseball player (Baltimore Orioles) that had everything going for him, according to the world.. and then GOD ROCKED HIS WORLD with GRACE!! He is one of the few that when HE got saved.. HE JUST never GOT OVER BEING SAVED!!! God changed his path from the "Diamond" to the "BUSHES" of Africa!!The night I was saved.. I woke up from a horrible nightmare.. I ran to my Mom and Daddy's room late one evening scared I was going to hell.. and that night I was saved in Africa, May 8th 1990 (15 years old)My father baptized me that next Sunday in the Kafulafuta River in Zambia, Africa (yes.. there are crocs in that river!! haha)After I was saved.. I felt a change in my heart like never before.. My heart had a desire to know more of GODS word.. yet.. at that time I being a young teenage girl (15) met a young boy (16) who was also a missionary kid like me.. He and his family lived also in Zambia... WE "Fell" in love. You see... I grew up with all the major "Walt Disney" fairy tale movies.. at the same time... the tug on my heart for the relationship with GOD began to dim.. and the desires for my flesh were stronger.. because all I ever dreamed about was marrying "prince charming".... We came back to the States... and were later married in 1993. ( I was 18) (yes I know.. shocking!!!!) All the while.. God became second, third... and sometimes never made the list of my life.We had a girl in 1995 (her name is Brianne she is 16 now) later realizing her birth was a gift that saved me from myself...Living in sin and over several horrible things that I did in my marriage, It was my decision to divorce him. Soon after I fell hard into alcohol and partying.. to dim the pain... I continued to run from the that beautiful STILL SMALL VOICE that kept on pulling at my heart.. I would try my hardest to drown out the conviction... by partying. I always woke up the next morning with the same conviction.. and of course the pain was still there!!!!I met my husband in Feb 1998 (who I am still married to only by the grace of GOD :)) I began sleeping with him and got pregnant. At 3 months pregnant.. we decided to get married. All the while.. even writing this now.. I am amazed and weep at the HAND of OUR MERCIFUL GOD!!!! Romans 2:4 says that "Its the goodness of GOD that leads us to repentance!!!" Thats what amazes me so much.. not HIS wrath in what we deserve... but HIS AMAZING GRACE AND GOODNESS AND MERCY!!!! Thank You Jesus for loving me ... I do NOT deserve this GRACE!!! OH LORD.. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!Our marriage was a "Rocky" start to say the least.. and there is nothing that I have not physically and emotional felt by an abusive relationship...At my whits end.. and countless tears that were shed... I couldn't take anymore.. but on August of 2003 in KATY TEXAS as the HOLY SPIRIT TUGGED ON MY HEART..... I gave my life back over to GOD!!!!!!! My children.. my husband... (who I thought was saved) August 2003 at 12:00 midnight in my living room floor.. I wept and wept until 5:00 in the morning.. I confessed and layed my WHOLE LIFE back down at MY SAVIORS FEET!!!! He saved me in AFrica yes... but NOW... I committed my WHOLE LIFE..... I have been bought with a price.. therefore from this point on.. I am HIS completely... wholly.. I surrendered.. and HAVE NOT BEEN THE SAME SINCE!!! A few months later on December 14th 2003 my husband Micheal Morgan was saved during a message that my father preached...I was blown away at GODS hand on our family...and how he HEALED MY MY MARRIAGE AND RESTORED MY FAMILY.. and He still shows me this daily!In 2007 My husband was promoted in His job at Discount Tire Co. but that meant we had to move to Lufkin, Texas!! So we moved from the Houston area (Katy) and our church Central Baptist In Houston Texas.. to come to the GREAT TOWN OF LUFKIN!!! God had His amazing hand on us the WHOLE TIME!!! We were here for only 3 months and my husband was FIRED!!! WHAT!??? Yes.. fired!! haha.. It wasnt funny at the time.. but let me tell you this amazing story of GODS hand in this.. You see.. I was scheduled for a Hysterectomy when we moved to Lufkin... I had a surgeon in Beaumont, Tx that was going to do my surgery.... Micheal and I had my daughter Brianne 12, and our son Justin who was 7 at the time.. We tried to have more children but I was bleeding for 3 years and had indometriosis really bad..the pain was unbareable and several doctors told me I couldnt have any more children.. so I scheduled the surgery... during all this time..we got settled into our house in Lufkin, and started going to OUR HOME CHURCH HARMONY HILL BAPTIST CHURCH.... and Micheal was fired!!!! WHAT!?? LORD??? what are you doing!?? So.. you can now understand that my surgery was canceled because of "no insurance". We had nothing.. and didnt really "KNOW" anyone.. the only ONE we could trust in WAS GOD!! Isnt that funny though.. that the only ONE we are supposed to TRUST in always!! Do not put your confidence in MAN.. but only in GOD!! GOd lead me to these verses Is 43:18,19 (please read)))) So we began getting involved in our church HHBC. (I was still bleeding)..... At the time.. we had a mission church downtown Lufkin that would feed the homeless and have a church service after our regular service. Well.. being a missionary kid.. I jumped on that band wagon.. I love mission work!!! That Sunday morning though..my bible reading was in Matthew 9 (the woman with the issue of blood) I got down on my knees and began praying and asking GOD.. "Lord.. I dont like asking for things for myself.. but Lord You say we have not because we ask not.. so Father GOd.. would you do that for me what you did for this woman..??" I thanked Him for the day and got up and went to church.. on the way to "mission church" I heard a song called "ONE TOUCH" by Nicole C. Mullen (AMAZING SONG ABOUT THE WOMAN WITH THE ISSUE OF BLOOD!!!!) I began to cry... Lord?? would You do that for me??? Then.. as the pastor began opening his bible..(at the mission church) He said turn to Matthew 9!!! WHAT!???????? MATTHEW 9!??? He then began to speak about the woman with the issue of blood.. He closed his bible.. and stopped and said.. "There is someone in here that needs healing.. JESUS is passing by right now.. and He wants to heal you with the "issue" you have!!" I know my mouth dropped open.. you see I was there to minister to others.. I was NOT the one that was being ministered too.. BUT... The Holy Spirit nudged me... a man spoke to me from behind.."I don't know why, Angela.. but the Lord wants me to tell you.. How long are you going to wait on the HOLY SPIRIT!??" oh my goodness.. I began to weep uncontrollably.... went forward and they prayed for me.. I told them.. of my "issue" and how much my husband and I wanted to have another child.. but we couldn't.. because of my problems.. To make a long story short.. I came home told my Husband I had been healed.. and 2 months later.. we were pregnant with LEVI ANTHONY MORGAN!!! OUR miracle from GOD!!!!Since this time.. I have had the opportunity to speak with ladies at our church in leading a Bible Study.. I have spoken and sang in churches in Kirbyville TX.. and was blessed to go to Ukraine with Michael Gott Ministires this past February...I also have the privilege of singing on our praise team an leading worship on Sundays. I love missions.. its GODS HEART BEAT.... We have a food pantry at our church every 3rd Wednesday of the month.. God has shown me so much through these wonderful beautiful people.. whom the world throws out with the trash. But JESUS LOVES SO MUCH.. and SO DO I!!! I recently had the privilege to go to a place called "PETTYS MOTEL" where prostitutes and drug dealers and lower class people live.. We went and knocked on there doors and invited them to Breakfast (chik filet sandwiches) and singing and the WORD OF GOD!! What an EYE OPENER THAT MINISTRY IS!!! The World needs JESUS!!!! We need to tell them.. If we want to be used by Him.. we must make ourselves available to HIM!!!I am also so blessed to say that God has in turn changed my husbands life dramastically as he leads about 14 men and women in discipleship out of our home on FRIDAY NIGHTS!! Sometimes we stay up until 3-4 in the morning weeping over the WORD OF GOD!!!! I am amazed at GODS hand on our family... THE LORDS MERCY AMAZES ME!!!God has placed a desire in my heart for woman to fall in LOVE with JESUS.. who is the WORD!!!! (JOHN1:1) WE must have a passion for GODS WORD!! WE must be in HIS WORD.. HE IS THE GIVER OF LIFE!!! (John 10:10) and He feeds us FROM HIS WORD!!! Job 23:12I have so many countless stories of GODS AMAZING GRACE over my life.. He has turned my mess into a message.. and I cant keep it to myself. May He richly bless you with more of HIM!!!! For nothing else in this world can satisfy!!!! NOTHING CAN!! I know this so well.. I have tried it all.. ONLY JESUS!! The ONE WHO Satisfies the HEART is the ONE WHO CREATED IT!!! :) BLESS GOD!!!!He has not saved us to sit.. but to serve.. The optimist says My cup is half full.. the pessimist says my cup is half empty but the BLOOD WASHED CHILD OF GOD SAYS MY CUP RUNNETH OVER!!!!!! Praise His HOLY NAME!!!! May He be praised and High and lifted up for He is the ONE that draws all men and women unto HIMSELF!!! THANK YOU JESUS FOR DRAWING ME... I AM FOREVER CHANGED!!!!!!

This morning as I was having my quiet time with the Lord... My precious little 3 year old snuggled up close to me and grabbed my hand and joined me in prayer to OUR HEAVENLY FATHER!!! What a blessing it was to me to see. Brought tears to my eyes.. as we prayed for those hurting and needing JESUS... Please Dear Jesus tonight I pray for my children that You would be the LORD OF THEIR LIVES COMPLETELY from this day forth.. in the mighty name of JESUS!!! There is no greater love than this... than the LOVE OF JESUS!!! HE IS WORTH LIVING FOR!!! I pray that all 3 of my precious beautiful kids see that in me... <3

Are You Satisfied in HIM???

I heard an amazing quote the other day by John Piper.. I wrote it on my Facebook.. but I just felt like I needed to write it out here too... He said.."God is MOST GLORIFIED... When we are MOST SATISFIED in Him!!" Isn't that an amazing STATEMENT???!!!!

Think about it!!..... When The Lord becomes your EVERYTHING, like for instance, when you wake up in the morning.. and He is the FIRST THING ON YOUR MIND.. and You cant WAIT to talk to HIM.. or Hear what He has to say in HIS WORD....He is the very breath that you breath.... That is when HE IS MOST GLORIFIED!!!! Isn't it all about GOD'S GLORY ANYWAY???.. And that He loves us so much to "attach" being satisfied in Him will bring HIM GLORY!!! To me.. Its a WIN WIN situation. So, why wouldn't we WANT TO PRAISE HIM.. Why wouldn't we want to LOVE HIM, with Our Everything????!!!! :)

Think about this statement: "God seeks our PRAISE..Not because HE WON'T BE HAPPY until He gets it..He seeks Our praise because WE WONT BE HAPPY UNTIL WE GIVE IT!!!!!!" Oh the LOVE OF OUR GOD!!!! We can NOT comprehend it!!!

Psalms 107:1-43 OH THAT MEN WOULD PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS GOODNESS AND FOR HIS WONDERFUL WORKS TO THE CHILDREN OF MEN!"

The passed few years have been really tough on me.. I will NOT LIE... but GOD IS SOOO FAITHFUL.... and not just me personally.. but my Dad being sick. I have struggled so much in my prayer life...... But through it all, every time that I go to the Lord, He says "Angela, Are you going to practice what you sing?" ... You see I don't preach.. haha.. but I do lead worship sometimes and the songs that constantly seem to be the ones that He wants me to sing are the ones that have words that "BLESS HIS NAME!" they are ALWAYS ABOUT HIM.. and Lifting HIM up.. and GIVING HIM PRAISE... not about circumstances.. or problems.. or me... JUST ABOUT HIM. period.

So, I sat back and just listened to Him speaking to me.... My desire for you Angela.. has always been about MY GLORY... Bringing Me GLORY!! When we realize that statement.. and the depth of it.... We realize how much HE LOVES US.....When I am singing and praising the ONE Who is to be glorified.. He NEVER LEAVES ME EMPTY HANDED!!!

John 1:14

And the WORD WAS MADE FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US, (AND WE BEHELD HIS GLORY, THE GLORY AS OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER,) FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH.

vs 16- AND OF HIS FULLNESS HAVE ALL WE RECEIVED, AND GRACE FOR GRACE.

JESUS Christ is the FULLNESS of all JOY, ALL PEACE, and ALL LOVE!!! When we allow Him to be LORD of OUR LIVES.. We are MOST SATISFIED IN HIM because He IS THE FULLNESS OF ALL JOY, ALL PEACE, AND ALL LOVE!!!!!

There is NOTHING in this WORLD that can ever come close to the precious relationship that you can have through JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.. there is no one on this earth .. not even our husband that can fill our hearts and keep them FULL.. because they are not the FULLNESS OF JOY PEACE AND LOVE!! Only JESUS is!!!!

That is why I am always saying.. "FALL IN LOVE WITH JESUS!!!" The Bible says that in

John 1:1 IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD

VS 2 THE SAME WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD.

VS 3 ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANYTHING MADE THAT WAS MADE.

VS4 IN HIM WAS LIFE AND THE LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MEN.

AND THE LIGHT SHINETH IN DARKNESS; AND THE DARKNESS COMPREHENDED IT NOT.

When we wonder how to get Love, Joy, Peace, and we always here.. "FALL IN LOVE WITH JESUS!" ... Well that means to LOVE HIS WORD.. HE IS THE WORD... READ HIS WORD!!!!

Loving Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength doesn't mean you will "skate" through life un-harmed.. or it doesn't mean that you will NEVER HAVE PROBLEMS.. but I can tell you this..... IN THE MIDST OF THE "STORMS" of life.. You CAN HAVE PEACE.. YOU CAN HAVE JOY.. YOU CAN BE FILLED WITH LOVE!!!!

Only JESUS can do it! So.. what do you do on Your part???

James 4:6-8

BUT HE GIVETH MORE GRACE. WHEREFORE HE SAITH, GOD RESISTETH THE PROUD , BUT GIVETH GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.

SUBMIT YOURSELVES THEREFORE TO GOD. RESIST THE DEVIL, AND HE WILL FEE FROM YOU.

DRAW NIGH UNTO GOD, AND HE WILL DRAW NIGH TO YOU. CLEANSE YOUR HAND, YE SINNERS; AND PURIFY YOUR HEARTS, YE DOUBLE MINDED.

My prayer is that my life would bring HIM Glory everyday.. that My speech.. my walk.. my talk.. would edify the ONE WHO IS WORTHY!!!! ITs not about me.. its all about HIM!!!!

Holiness... what is it really???

Have we become so desensitized by this world that the Word of God has of none affect on us anymore?

How can it? We have no room in our lives for His Word.. yes we read.. but does it stick.?

How can you fill a pot that’s already full of something else?

How do we expect to ever let the Word of God fill our minds when it’s full of Television, News, internet, school activities, shopping, playing sports, going to the movies.. having more pleasure in what the World offers than what our Father in heaven offers!?

As I sit here I’m in tears because the Lord has revealed to me how desensitized we have become to this world.

My heart is only breaking because the Holy Spirit is breaking it.. We must break.. We must realize that He is coming soon.. Oh God.. forgive us.. forgive me..

2 Peter 4:17
For this time is come that judgement must begin at the house of God and if it first begin at us what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of GOD?

I believe that God is calling out His People to humble themselves and turn from there wicked ways and seek His Holy Face!!..OBEDIENCE!

We “talk” about “change” and wanting to serve Him .. wanting “more” of Him.. Are we willing to seek Him the way He desires us too?

Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me!

Loving God and seeking Him early in the morning are in the SAME verse… that should say something..

Loving Him more than SLEEP!!

Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.
Loving God more than FOOD!!

I cant believe how we can become so far away from His TRUTH.. and what it REALLY MEANS to Love GOD!!!!

I am so guilty.. We say we Love God.. but we don’t do any of these things.. Who do we think we are??!!

We don’t deserve His mercy.. We don’t deserve His grace..

People... GOD HAS NOT CALLED US TO BE HAPPY!!!!… HE HAS CALLED US TO BE HOLY!!!… OH FORGIVE US LORD!!!

Leviticus 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God!!

1 Peter 1:15 But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation!
In everything you “talk” about!!

Do you want to be moved by the Spirit? Feeling His presence?
Be Holy!!

2 Peter 1:21 For the Prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but HOLY MEN of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

I want to be used by God … I must present my body as Holy and blameless!

I have never seen such a sense of urgency more now than ever…

We are living in a modern day Babylon.. God is calling us OUT!! He is seeking SUCH to worship Him in Spirit and in TRUTH!!

We sing in church about how “We welcome You Lord Jesus into this place”.. speaking of The church building itself .. When we need to be singing His praises into our HOMES.. Our Everyday Lives..

“Lord we Welcome You here in THIS PLACE!!!…

But how can He be welcome if The Television is constantly on.. Or the Internet.. Or the Radio..

Listen.. We have so called “talked” ourselves out of doing what’s right!..

What’s Holy!… (justification) Why?? because we have become so stagnant. Nothing fazes us anymore.

Spiritually Starving???

Saw this picture the other day and it made my heart hurt! Although the picture is horrible..and so sad in its own state, and even the story behind the picture made me so sad.. BUT As I was looking at this picture.. the LORD.. was speaking to me.. and reminding me of His Word.. John 10:10 (my very favorite verse) "The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." As I starred at this picture of this little African child.. I am reminded of so many of us CHRISTIANS.. spiritually STARVING TO DEATH!! The Vulture is SATAN.. (the thief) He wants to steal kill and destroy you.. devour you spiritually and physically.. but JESUS CHRIST.. did NOT want that for you.. He wants to bring you LIFE.. Job 23:12 is one of my favorite verses..Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips.. I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food" " WOW... to love the WORD of GOD more than food!! I am a "visual" leaner.. and when I saw this picture it made me cry of course because it is just so sad... So sad.. and I wondered how that precious little baby is.. if they are in heaven or if they survived, and are now grown!! But I can't help but think this is what WE look like spiritually... "just surviving" .. "starving to death" ... God does NOT want us to live like this! His WORD is LIFE!!!! We must seek HIM.. His Word. Psalms 119 amazes me.. the way the "psalmist" talks of the WORD OF GOD!! I do NOT want to "just survive" I want to LIVE!!! I want to LIVE LIFE IN JESUS!!!! It's only through HIM.. that we can have this LIFE!!!

Thanking My Savior!

I am new at this whole "blogging" .. Not sure why I am even starting one! Just a place I would like to talk about the ONE thing, that is WORTH TALKING ABOUT!! JESUS... Just a place where I can praise HIM.. and Thank Him for everything He has done!!! So Lord.. I Praise You for this day.. I thank You again for the breath in my lungs to praise YOU! Orchestrate my day.. Order my steps.. into ONLY what pleases You.. in Your precious name, Jesus.. Amen
